Auro Moura

Vocal preparation and musical direction

Auro Moura

Singer, composer, music educator, and arts entrepreneur, Auro Moura has dedicated 20 years to music teaching as well as artistic and community projects. Holding a master's degree in music and a bachelor's degree in music education and audiovisual production, Auro also composes for film, advertising, dance, and theater. As a music educator, he is co-founder and music teacher at Les Brasileirinhos, an initiative dedicated to promoting Brazilian music and culture among children from immigrant families. Co-founder and musical director of Coro Cênico Brasileiro, he is responsible for the vocal preparation of choir members, rehearsal direction, and the creation of vocal and instrumental arrangements.

Taia Goedert

Stage direction and artistic direction

Taia Goedert

Artistic director, music educator, percussionist, and researcher, Taia Goedert is a doctoral candidate in music education and lecturer at McGill University. Holding a master's and bachelor's degree in music education, a master's in arts innovation, and a bachelor's in percussion, she has accumulated over 20 years of experience in music teaching, artistic direction, and leadership in community arts projects. Taia has founded and directed several ensembles and artistic initiatives, both in Brazil and Canada. As a researcher of Brazilian popular culture, Taia is interested in strategies that foster dialogue between popular expressions and multidisciplinary approaches. Co-founder and artistic director of Coro Cênico Brasileiro, she believes in music as a space for gathering, belonging, expression, and well-being.
